VULCAN - The William Bonifas Fine Arts Center in Escanaba held its first-ever photography competition, and Vulcan resident Kathleen Groeneveld was a winner. Groeneveld was surprised to learn she won The Daily News Featured Artist award. "I was very excited and happy," she said. "This was the first juried art show I've entered."
